On Thursday, Aug. 29th, 7th and 8th
graders got to support their classmates and have some fun! The RMMS student
council hosted the annual pep rally and powderpuff game to hype up students for
Homecoming this week.
RMMS Fall sports teams got to show off and get hyped for
their seasons. Introduced were the RMMS Football team, Volleyball team,
Cross-country students, and Cheerleaders got their time in the spotlight. In
addition, student council announced the officers that were newly elected for
the year. The new officers for student council at RMMS are Brianna Ortega
(President), Lillyana Lemasters (Vice President), Dana Guerrero (Secretary),
and Bella Fox (Treasurer).
After putting some pep in their step, students headed out to
the football field to cheer on their classmates in the powderpuff game. The
game ended in a tie between 7th and 8th graders with the
score ending at 7-7.
