In honor of the annual Duck Races and to give staff at RMMS an opportunity to quack themselves up, a staff Chuck a Duck Competition was held.
Staff members paid $5 and got to pick their champion duckie. Then, after all the students went home on Friday, Aug. 16th, participants came and took their chances chucking their duck into the “pond”. After an intense five minutes for each contestant to take their turn, the winner was Educational Assistant, Gabriel Cuevas and his champion duckie, Fredrickson.
A fun time was had by all who participated and the coordinator of the competition, Yasmin Rico, hopes that next year sees even more participation from staff.
